Resumen

This study proposes and justifies a redesign of pedagogical practices aimed at inclusion and the integrated development of numerical, variational, and computational thinking in seventh-grade students at the Manuel Germán Cuello Gutiérrez Educational Institution (Valledupar, Colombia). The methodology employed was Participatory Action Research. From a socio-critical perspective, the study aimed to construct a STEM-based didactic proposal within the framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a support system. The problem that motivated the research is the gap between curricular guidelines that demand STEM/PC integration and the reality of heterogeneous classrooms with barriers to access, participation, and learning, where prescriptive instructional practices persist, there is weak articulation between Mathematics and Technology/Computer Science, and UDL scaffolding is poorly systematized. The intervention is designed around “unplugged ? plugged” learning sequences, with contextualized modeling and problem-solving experiences, supported by multiple options for representation, action/expression, and engagement.
