Resumen
Current global challenges demand stronger university business relationships to achieve effective solutions. Action Research (AR) has gained popularity among academics, particularly master s students, for addressing real organizational problems through thesis work. However, limited research examines how AR in master s theses effectively resolves such problems and contributes to new knowledge. This study analyzes a Latin American university innovation program using AR-driven master s theses. Findings show that AR facilitates direct knowledge transfer to organizations while also generating new theoretical insights and implications for scholarship and practice.
