Resumen
This section describes three studies addressing the topic of teaching units in chemistry education within the national context. The first presents a proposal for learning stoichiometry concepts based on the meaningful learning approach. The second plans and develops teaching units as an essential element of constructivism in science learning. Finally, a proposal grounded in the metacognitive aspects of learning for chemistry education is described; this proposal guided the conceptual and methodological aspects of the present study. Each of the aforementioned studies will be examined in greater detail below.
